Home

Home is a default location for getting things down fast and messy. You don't need to worry about where things should go, how it's structured, if it has typos, etc. Just jot it down in Home - you can always triage notes into other stashes later on. See more on moving notes.

Even when you're not currently in Home, you can send a note to Home by typing cmd / ctrl D and selecting Home as the destination.

You can also hit cmd / ctrl N (or use the "New stash" command from the command palette) to jump into a new empty stash that lives in Home.

Home is the root for all of your notes. Any note or stash that you create lives directly under Home or is nested somewhere underneath Home.
